'I like to imagine bioluminescent creatures have evolved beneath the thick sheet of ice covering Europa’s surface. Tidal forces generate heat capable of melting the frigid crust, creating favorable conditions for primitive life. Yes. Under the icy surface of this Jupiter moon, there is quite possibly a liquid sea and extraterrestrial life moving within it. I have created lighted forms to mimic these fantastical creatures'.  |

 William Leslie, Alessandra Colfi and Nathan Harrenstein collaborated with LED lighting specialists, Chris and Lisa Isaacson, to create these unique light sculptures. Each individual artwork is crafted from thin strips of wood covered with paper soaked in polyvinyl resin and is internally lit.  |
